Megan is really starting to enjoy pretend play. She is finally starting to say more words, she mimics a lot of the words we say now, like grandma and wow, it's so much fun to "talk" to her! I just love this first picture, she looks so grown-up! Her newfavorite place to play is on the couch in front of the window, she lines all of her playpeople/animals up to look out the window! Today she even showed a violent side, one little pretend girl was looking out the window and all of a sudden a mean tiger came and knocked her off, over and over again! I would do the tiger sound each time and Megan would just laugh and laugh, it was great!

Weekend at the Green's
This past weekend we took a trip to Springfield to visit with Miriam and Alex and their twin girls Jasmine and Addison who will turn 1 on April 2nd. We had a blast and really enjoyed visiting. The girls seemed to enjoy themselves as well! The girls are close enough in age that hopefully they will be able to play together when we visit!
Saturday night we enjoyed a nice grown up meal together after the girls went to bed at 6:30, then played the original Mario Brothers 3...on the Wii, unfortunately we forgot to bring the fun sports game for the Wii but watching Miriam make their Mii's and play mario 3 was definitly fun to watch!
We were also there for a photo shoot for a project about healthy marriages. We will be featured with 15 other couples for a calendar and it's going to be a national project. We are anxious to see how it all turns out. Until then you can see the photographer's website to see his style at http://www.randybacon.com/
Here we are all playing nice with the piggy bank...
...until Megan decides she wants it all for herself...
Here are Jasmine and Addison, the look on Addie's face is hilarious.
Here is Megan trying out their Bumbo seat, clearly we need to get ours back out for her to play with!

Princess Castle
Here are Megan and Schyler in their princess castle. The girls were a little tired of pictures but I still like this first one! We threw blankets over the kitchen table and brought in toys and pillows. The bowling pins turned into chicken legs, ice cream, corn on the cob, firewood, etc. We had a blast.
