Snow...Finally!!!

We finally have real snow to play in! Megan has been waiting and waiting for snow all winter. This afternoon she informed me that this is how Christmas was supposed to look. She would have stayed outside all afternoon/evening if we let her. We went out together as a family (minus a napping Emily) and had a great time. The snow was fun and was falling while we were out there.

Here is Megan going down the slide pushing the snow down. The second time around she flew so fast it was hilarious!
The kids next to the masterpiece! Megan pretty much made the snowman by herself with just a little help from Michael. Jacob helped at the end with the carrot nose!
We even found a tiny hill on the side of our house to sled down. The kids loved it!
Cute picture with Daddy!
Jacob trying to catch snow on his tongue!
Megan wanting me to stop taking pictures so she can just go play in the snow!
Shoney loves the snow. She ran and ran outside and she enjoyed losing her ball in the snow and digging for it. She also liked eating the snow!
Michael and Shoney goofing around.

Emily!!

Emily is growing up way too fast! She has been pulling up on everything she can get her hands on...Shoney included! She also started cruising recently. And just today she completely let go of the couch with both hands to take a step...she nose-dived but that's ok! She is a very easy-going baby who sleeps through the night and is always agreeable. She ended up with a double ear infection with a ruptured ear drum this past week and she wasn't all that fussy, she was a little clingy but that's it. She is feeling much better now too. Jacob has not been feeling well for 5 days now. His fever is finally gone but he's still not himself. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

Here is Emily this week. She is such a smiley happy baby (this was the day we finally figured out something wasn't quite right with her and she went to the Dr.)
This picture makes her look so old!
More smiles!
She was showing off how she can stand tall with barely holding onto the mailbox.
This is one of Emily's favorite places. She loves to look outside at the cars going by.

Megan's Color Days!

I've been working on a photo book for Megan with pictures and simple sentences to help her learn to read. She doesn't know about it yet and I can't wait to get it in the mail and give to her. I told her we had a fun art project with paint and fun colors. It was a fun time! Here are the color pages of the book!

Updated Pictures!!

Here is an updated picture of Shoney! She stays busy with me at school and with the kids at home! At my school she helps kiddos get their emotions under control, is used as a reward for students, and even gets to nap with a few lucky students!
Megan is such a sweet big sister. She helps out with Emily everyday. She loved Emily and Jacob very much and it's wonderful to see!
Here is a super cute picture with the girls.
And a group picture of all three before bedtime.
A rare picture of Emily and Jacob. He is playing the typical big brother and wants little to do with Emily at this point. She is the typical little sister and wants to be around him constantly!

Cute Megan!

Megan posed for pictures before her Christmas program at school. She did a great job and loved banging her drum for the Little Drummer Boy!

Christmas Eve!!

Megan loves her trampoline from Pop-Pop! Look at how high she can jump.

Of course Jacob also loves the new toy too!
Megan performed in the Christmas Eve service with Purest Praise. She did a great job with the bells and singing. Before the service I took a quick picture of Emily and Grandma Dierking!

Christmas Day!!

Christmas morning was very exciting! Megan and Jacob are at a fun age right now. Jacob wanted to stop opening after each one and open the complete package for each toy! He also loves his new trucks and couldn't part with them!

The kids we super excited about the bikes waiting for them from Santa.
Emily loved putting everything in her mouth!
Train track!
Megan's favorite gift...chapstick!
Emily started getting the hang of opening presents!
Hair to fix anytime she wants!
All three kids enjoyed opening Emily's gift!

Christmas with Grammy!!

On Christmas Eve morning we went to Grammy to celebrate. This was the first opening of presents and the kids did great! We enjoyed a nice relaxing morning together!
