Megan!!!

Megan is growing up way too fast! She and I enjoyed a day together during spring break complete with a haircut, eating lunch, planting flowers, going to the Lorax, and shopping. She is changing so quickly these days! She enjoys all things animals and loves bugs that crawl...even spiders...but if it has wings and can fly she isn't a big fan and usually starts running, although I have to give her credit tonight she didn't freak out when 2 huge bumblebees flew by. Megan loves Emily and helps with her all of the time. I hope the 2 share this bond forever! Megan and Jacob are both doing gymnastics and both are loving it. Megan is struggling in kindergarten and we may need to have her in kindergarten again next year, we'll see. The two of us went to an ice show last week and she really liked that too!

Jacob!!!

Jacob is also loads of fun lately. He loves to play outside and with his trains of course! During spring break we enjoyed some time together just the two of us and it was wonderful. We ate lunch together, went to the library to play trains and find train books, played outside, and he rode his bike on the trail. He loves puzzles, especially his new big train puzzle. He also likes to play "bad guys" and wore a new shirt with characters on it for 3-4 days before I finally peeled it off of him. Most days as soon as he's home from daycare he takes all his clothes off and then just puts his shorts back on...and tonight while I raked leaves he came back outside completely naked, hopefully no one important drove by! Jacob is also going to need glasses before starting kindergarten and will be evaluated for speech this next week.

Emily!!!

Emily is so much fun! She loves to play outside with the big kids. When Megan and Jacob were this age they didn't enjoy getting in the grass...Emily is adventurous and doesn't mind at all. She crawls/stands all over the yard ad loves it! She is still showing us her gummy smiles all of the time and we are waiting for those first teeth to appear. She loves all things Megan and Jacob. She especially loves to play with Jacob's trains. She is working so hard on walking and loves to finger walk and push things. She also likes to say mama and dada!

Happy Birthday Jacob!!!!

Jacob is 3! It's hard to believe he is actually 3. He's such a big boy we've been thinking about him as 3 for a long time now! Don't worry he still very much acts like a 2 year old! He had a Toy Story party complete with his always favorite trains.

I love this picture of Jacob! He looks so handsome with his new haircut. His cake was a Toy Story train cake because his favorite part of all 3 movies is the opening of the third one when the train is getting robbed by "bad guys" and then the tracks get blown up and Buzz saves the day!
