Loving the new house!!!

We are officially moved into our new house.  The kids are loving the space and so are we!  It's amazing how quickly it went from a house to a home!
Megan's Angry Birds bathroom.

We are really enjoying breakfast on the deck.  The kids especially love going in and out.  We scored a $400 table and chairs for $100 and we have used them everyday!

Jacob giving Megan a huge hug...Megan wasn't loving it too much though!  The kids enjoy dragging each other (and random dolls) on the wood floors.

Train track getting some love!

Jacob was stalling because he didn't want to take a nap so he decided to help unload a box of books on the bookshelf.

Another picture of breakfast on the deck!

Our last official picture in front of our old house.

Jacob went to Lowe's with me and enjoyed time on the lawnmowers! He has really been interested in Daddy's tools lately too.

Progress!

We've been working day and night to get our house ready! Our lists are dwindling down and that's good because the move is this Friday! We have finished the fence, re-caulked the tub, power washed the deck (wow what a difference that made!), replaced 4 lighting fixtures, replaced all bathroom accessories, painted bathroom, painted hallway, painted dining room, stripped paint from doorway I should never have apinted brown! (this was quite a job but it's now back to wood and stained!), replaced hardware on cabinets (looks great with the new paint too!), attacked our yard weeding and wacking everywhere, and the list goes on! Hopefully all of our hard work pays off and we sell quickly!
Picture of the last part of the fence that is now complete!

Michael doing the easy part of the paint stripping!

Ahhh, the before picture of our lovely paint spots that are now gone forever...it only took us 4 years to pick a color and it's not any of those on the wall!

Emily's growing up!

Emily is really becoming her own individual!  So far Megan and Jacob include her in their play and she loves it! She has the ability to wake Jacob up from his nap in a good mood (doesn't happen very often for anyone else!). Megan is super helpful and a great big sister always looking out for Emily and lending a hand when needed.  Lately helping out even more because of the crazy packing, fixing up the house, etc!
Emily loves this slide! She was trying to peek over the side and at one point tried to hike a leg over!

More fun slide! The finished fence is in the background!

Emily is our little dare devil it seems.  She climbs everywhere and has no fear yet! On this day we were playing outside and while I was talking to Michael on the phone she decided to climb to the top of the table!

Weeeeee!

She's also learned how to climb into the top part of the playground! Ahhh, Mommy's stress has increased outside!

Look at me!

The kids were playing under the table in their "sleeping car of the train" or fort as I called it!

Random Shoney picture!

Emily at the mall!  She's so much fun these days!

More cute kids!

Megan and Jacob are really enjoying themselves this summer! Here they are playing in their new found "cave" It's great to listen to them talk in there with the door closed. They have puppet shows and all kinds of fun!

Here they are enjoying free reign of pretzels with peanut butter!

Uh-Oh, Emily grabbed the wrong end of the animal crackers!

Megan looking goofy after being told she can stay the night at Grammy's!

Emily trying so hard to get to the other side of the table where they kids eat their breakfast!

Megan loves bugs this summer. She was excited to find an ant carrying food!

And she found a centipede.  We've let her stay up a little later and she's been catching lightening bugs and loving it!

Emily enjoying digging in the pea gravel.  We are really going to miss our backyard when we move. The kids have been playing like crazy on the playground. Megan has been hinting at having another playground but maybe this time in an actual tree! We'll see what happens, it's too bad we can't move this one but hopefully it will help us sell quickly!

Michael finishing our fence so we can sell the house!

Success! She's found a way through!

Jacob and Megan enjoying the sprinkler!
