Present from Pop-Pop!!!

Pop-Pop sent Megan a crazy awesome playset for her birthday (and future Emily/Jacob birthdays)! Needless to say she was super excited!  Michael has been working on putting it together after work each night.  The one thing Megan has talked about missing from our old house was our backyard playset.  My dad decided to make our new house even more of a home by sending a playset and the kids are really looking forward to playing on it! Thanks dad!
Jacob loves to pretend to cut the desert in our backyard!

Group shot of the kids among all of the playset pieces!

Emily making quick work of playing before it's even put together!

The kids working with tools on the tree!

Megan all smiles with all the parts!

She just now realized that Pop-Pop sent a playset!

Emily supervising the construction!

Megan lending a helping hand!

Jacob is really into tools right now and he has been asking for his own tools like Daddy's! He's loving the construction!

Michael working hard to stretch the cargo net to the top...the directions had him use a screwdriver to stretch it to the top-it was harder than it looks! We are at a stand still right now because the beam on the right has to get connected and it's not budging.  We've got a plan now it's just getting out there tomorrow to work on it!

Emily swiped a screwdriver from the table and was so proud of herself dipping it in the water knowing she shouldn't be! I just took pictures and mentioned it to Michael...who immediately took Emily's fun away...what a party pooper!

Six Flags Fun!

Megan earned a free ticket to Six Flags and we decided to go!  Megan loved everything...Jacob didn't like anything!  He finally reluctantly decided to try out the kids train and enjoyed it. He was brave and went on all the rides we put him on but the poor kid said many times "this not a fun place." I think by the end he had fun though. Megan on the other hand loved everything and wanted to go on everything, she braved the Screaming Eagle and super crazy tall swings!
Here's Jacob not too sure about this ride!

He approved of the ferris wheel!

Totally konked out during dinner but it was much needed and he was happier after he woke up!

Megan driving Mommy in the moon cars!

OK he loved it after a time or two around!

Megan played along for the "baby" rides as she called them!

Here he was brave and let Megan take him on the airplane!

More fun ferris wheel!

A smile!

Megan's sweet face! She is counting the days until she can go again...next year!

Megan fun

Megan has been a ton of fun this summer! She's been spreading her wings and trying new things.

She was able to go to a Camp Imagination and learn all about inventing and using her imagination.  She loved it and from what I hear they loved her too!  Each day they did something fun and the above picture is from crazy hair day!

Here is her magnetropolis city where they made the light actually work!

Here is her individual invention for her balloon popping machine.  The kids all brought broken electronics items and took everything apart to use the insides for the various projects. They also brought recyclable items for the inventions too!

More balloon popping!

More balloon popping!

This is a fun picture from another day! She had a ring pop-yuck teeth!

Zoo trip!

Saturday we decided to go the the zoo! The kids have been asking and asking and we finally decided to just go!  We ended up in traffic on 70 pretty much at a stand still for an hour and a half. We left at 8:30am and finally arrived at the zoo at 2pm.  What a time.  We thought Jacob was going to pee his pants so we found a cup and let him out of his car seat...he just couldn't do it though! We finally got through the accident and went on to Chick-fil-a for lunch and it had a play place which was great for the kids. Then back in the car for an hour to the zoo. It actually worked out perfect because they were able to get a nap in so the time at the zoo was peaceful-not too many tantrums or bad attitudes!

Megan and I in front of the elephant!

Emily is the best baby ever (sorry Megan and Jacob!). She stayed awake the whole trip to stl and was happy-travel time of over 5 hours! She hung out in the stroller and wasn't demanding to be pushed around, she was content to just look at the commotion around her. I can't say enough about how wonderful she was!

There are a ton of elephant pictures because the elephants were awesome! The mom, dad, and baby were all right there playing in the water right in front of us!

All 3 cuties!

Mom and dad chillin'

Another picture of all three together!

Hippos!

Emily and Michael enjoying the penguins!

The kids out of their carseats playing in their "secret hideout" on the floorboard while we sit in the hot car in traffic! I love how they made the best of it though!

Megan enjoying her snack on top of a huge rock!

Megan next to the big spider! She absolutely loved the insect house.  It was a great thing for her since she's so into bugs right now! She loved it!

Dark picture but Megan on my shoulders while we watched the family monkey drama! Mammas and babies were clearly not seeing eye to eye, it was hilarious because we made up the words for them based on their actions!

Another fun bug picture to look at, Jacob's reflection is in there as well!

Enjoying the butterfly garden!

More elephant pics!

We were able to see the penguins being fed which was fun!

The best part of the day for Megan was the very end. We decided to eat dinner at the zoo (we usually don't because it is way overpriced!). While eating she shared part of her hot dog bun with the ducks and then the one animal she wanted to see more than any other just walked right up by our table. The peacock went by at least 3 times and she loved feeding it bits of her bread! She was mesmerized!

More elephant cuteness!

The beautiful peacock!

Megan totally crashed on the way home sleepy sweetly on her newly purchased peacock stuffed animal!  Emily was the hold out on the way home. She was happy to pinch, kick, throw things, etc at both kids to try and keep them awake! It was the ultimate little sister thing to do, and she would just giggle and giggle! It was great!

Jacob asleep clutching his new helicopter and gorilla! What a fun day, totally worth it!

Fun summer days!

We went to the bounce house and had a blast. We now live a mile from it and the kids couldn't be happier! This was the first time that all 3 really had fun, Jacob followed Megan everywhere and Emily had fun too!
Jacob looking through the window!

This is my favorite picture of these two to date! They were sitting on the counter "helping" me make dinner, it took about 20 pictures before I finally snapped this one!

Emily is crazy adventurous. She climbed up the stairs, into the tunnel and plopped right in the balls! She's definitely our little daredevil! She really enjoys climbing and rocking!

Megan trying to help Emily get to the top!

Emily and Jacob enjoying a game of Emily pushing Jacob away and him pretending to fall big! They were laughing like crazy!

Jacob loves to vacuum, we finally decided to just start letting him vacuum with the real one!

He is so ornery! I was trying to capture the cuteness but he just had to be silly! The other day we had one of Michael's shirts on Emily because she loves to dress up and Jacob purposefully kept stepping on the back so she would trip and fall.  He's a stinker!
