Everyone loves being outside! I love the water gun action shot! I have to brag on Jacob though! He has really stepped up since the boys have been with us. They adore him which is a good thing most of the time and hes learning when he needs a break. He started making his own lunch in the mornings. Last night he asked if he could make dinner! So of course I said yes. It allowed him to gain confidence and me to have Mommy time with the others!
Fun times! Trips to Bonkers, playing with water outside, and more! Also church with 5 kids has been going pretty well. We are back to bringing activities and snacks but so far so good! Ryker threw a fit bc he thought church equals donut right away...well hopefully he learned that if you cry and dont make it into church at all you dont get a donut. Its so hard to balance helping them feel safe and loved yet also setting limits and boundaries! Needless to say he konked out on me after his fit. Praying the hard lesson pays off for next Sunday! Also I've started some special routines at bedtime with the boys. In addition to story, songs, and talking about day, we also share an "I Love You Ritual" to connect. They are loving it and so am I. Its also fun bc the other 3 kiddos come in and are a part of story time each night. They are especially loving Pete the Cat right now!

Wow! We are just moving right along! We've had fun painting, being silly and so much more. The transition is going pretty well. Of course we are seeing some sibling squabbles but the love is definitely there.
