WI Trip
Megan begged us to take her to WI again to participate in tbe National Cross Country meet in Mequon WI. Michael stayed with the boys and I took the girls. What I didn't realize is that the trip was 9 hours there and 9 hours back. The girls did amazing and we had a great trip. I don't think I'll be doing a solo trip anytime soon though, it was rough! I decided to stay another night because driving until 3am just didn't seem like a good idea. We got lucky and found a cheap hotel with a pool, walmart had $2 clearance swimsuits, and free breakfast! We also had the great luck to have the fire alarms go off. Luckily I was out of the shower and it was someone who burned popcorn, still a bit unnerving right before bedtime!!
Washington DC
2 weekends in a row I was out in the world of traveling! I had the awesome opportunity to attend the National Character Education Conference in Washington DC. I had a great time and came back more inspired than ever!
