We Put in an Offer...

How quickly things change! One minute we are looking at houses and the next we actually find a decent one to put in an offer! We'll see what actually happens and if the inspection goes through or not but it's exciting! Hopefully we get used to the traffic noise.....

OK so while typing they countered a few thousand more and we accepted! So that means that as long as everything else pans out then we will be moving into our new home in a couple of months! How exciting!

A House We are Looking At

Here are a few pictures of a house we are looking at. I went to see it today and Michael is going tonight. The house has a lot of potential, it's a solid construction brick house with a full basement. It's 1700 sq.ft. which is plenty big for us. My plan would include knocking down the wall between the living room and dining room/kitchen area and making it one large open room. We'll see how it goes. Michael is supposed to take more pictures tonight.

older home (needs some updates)

It's been a while...

It's been a while since our last post, things have been a bit busy. Megan is using her new words all of the time, she up to about 25 now. The animal sounds are really amazing, today at the book store during storytime she looked up and saw an owl, she immediately starting hoohooing loudly! It's so much fun to witness her language skills increasing each day. She really enjoys pretend play and her new favorite thing to do is get a blanket out, have us spread it on the floor for a "picnic" and she then sets out all of her animals and playthings, it's so sweet.

This week is spring break so I have been able to spend lots of time with Megan, we've went to the mall to play, the bookstore, tomorrow we will go to the outlet mall with our friends Camie and Schyler and who knows what Friday will hold! It's been a fun week though. I can't wait until summer!

Water Play

Megan loves to play in the water! She gives her animals a bath and plays around for quite a while! I think her favorite toys right now are her large pretend animals like these! She feeds them, puts them to bed, plays with them, walks them, bathes them, etc! It's so much fun!

Friends and Spring Preview!

Here are Megan and Schyler posing for a picture! They love the laundry baskets, it's by far the coolest toy in the house!

Here is Megan with her fun spring clothes on! We used part of my Christmas gift from my dad (Carter's giftcards) to get Megan some spring clothes and shoes, it was fun and the best part, it was free to us! I'm so ready for spring!

We enjoyed a fun day yesterday at the State Park at the Lake. Megan walked all the way up to the castle ruins. Each time we went to a new part she didn't want to leave the one before! Michael also said that she liked the cave area...although it was fenced off, we'll see this summer if she likes that kind of thing...we'll see!

Megan has been busy lately. She can now say over 15 words and she is really trying to copy all of our words...finally! Yesterday was nice so we enjoyed the Runge Nature Center and the park.
