Round 1 of snow!

Snow, Snow, Snow...it's been a very snowy winter this year!

Megan is the queen of the slopes, she is starting to come out of her shell and is very adventurous when it comes to sledding!

Emily also loves a good ride down the hill!

As you can see the blocks are getting their use! Jacob decided to make a landing platform for his shuttle. I love the look on his face because he is making the takeoff sounds!

We decided to tackle the toys and organize everything into the new organizers...can you tell that Megan and Jacob had a hand in the organizing!

Megan and Emily seem to have a really good relationship so far. I hope it lasts when Megan gets older. Here they are playing play-do together.

We set up the slot car track that Michael and I have had since college. Unfortunately the triggers are very sensitive and the cars zoom off the track but the kids had fun!

Shaving cream and new huge blocks!

Random packages started arriving weeks before Jacob's birthday! Dad wanted him to go ahead and open them right away but we have been so busy lately the boxes went untouched for days! Finally tonight we decided to let the kids rip into them!

I made sure to torture them with picture-taking before they could open them!

Look at his first creation! He is going to love these and all of us are going to enjoy making creations!

Shoney and I dressed up as sheep for our character assembly at school (we re-enacted the Boy Who Cried Wolf). Jacob was in speech during the assembly so he missed it and was disappointed so I brought the costume (cloth really) home and the whole family played out the story. Jacob enjoyed being the wolf and Megan tried out all of the other roles!

Jacob has been asking to play shaving cream for a while now and I finally gave in! They loved it and our table is super clean now!
