Weekend at Grandma & Grandpa Dierking's!!!

The kiddos had the awesome treat of staying in the country at Michael's parents house this weekend. The reports are that everyone had a great time and enjoyed playing in the snow, helping with firewood, making brownies, art projects, and much more!

They hooked up the sleds to the tractor and started the sledding fun!

Both kids adored sledding and Megan became very attached to her sled wanting it in the backseat on the way out there and back and wanted it inside too!

Snow Day with Mommy!!!

Lately we've been experiencing a lot of snow days where school has been cancelled! Of course it's nice to have these "bonus Mommy days" but we'll be hating it come May.

The kids invented a fun game with the tunnel...daddy holds it against the couch and it suddently becomes a slide...weeeeee, it was a 30 minute extravaganza!
Here we are playing play-doh which the kids absolutely love to do!

Unfortunately we didn't get much outside time because it was extremely cold. Jacob wasn't a big fan of the snowy wind in his face!

Jacob loves his car, he was really frustrated that it wouldn't move for him in the snow. Megan was being a helpful big sister by trying to clear the snow off his car...which actually meant Jacob was getting covered in snow!

Christmas with Grammy!!!

Jacob was a bit concerned about the change he put in his new piggy bank...his fingers wouldn't fit in the whole to get it back out!
He really enjoyed laying on the new pillows and sleeping back, he lost interest in opening presents by this time!

Megan's prized possession...her ladybug pillow pet. Apparently she really really wanted this and my mom got it long before Christmas for her but we celebrated after our Texas trip so Megan didn't get it until a week after Christmas. Christmas morning she didn't really get into opening presents because she was disappointed Santa didn't bring her a pillow pet...poor Megan...Santa has to do better next year! She loves her pillow pet very much, sleeps with it every night, and carries it around everywhere!
