Jacob's 6th Birthday Dinosaur Party

Here are the invitations for Jacob's Dinosaur Party!

The kids worked really hard putting all the fun kits together for the friends. Each kiddo played and brought home a container full of sand, shells, dinosaurs, and even a dinosaur egg to crack!

Here they are hard at work!

The food included dino claws (bugles), dino eggs (candy), dino bones (pretzel sticks), and more! My friends from work were awesome and let me borrow cool dino bone replicas, posters, plastic dinosaurs, and gave great ideas for the dino-stomp as well!

Here are the friends with their dinosaur hats eating snacks and cake!

The cake turned out well, it's supposed to resemble a dig site and you can see the dinosaurs being excavated if you look closely!

He was a happy camper!

Even the grown ups got into the fun! The dinosaur in Emily's hand was special, she carried it everywhere with her (it was borrowed too!)

Great Grandma getting some Brandon snuggles in!

Uncle Jon and Brandon!

Dino stomp! We played the dino stomp on the tv and the kids loved it!

And of course everyone loved present time!
Megan posing for the dino pic!

Of course we weren't expecting everyone to trudge out in the mud to the trampoline but they did...and they all had a blast! I couldn't have done with without Jacob's friend's grandma helping with crowd control though!

Random Pictures from Winter

We had a blast playing in the snow and sledding! Jacob is a pro now and Megan reminds me of a penguin when she goes down head first.

Crazy hair day!

We had baby chicks at our school and it was awesome!

Here are the kids patiently waiting for one to hatch! It was the first time I ever saw a chick hatch!

During Lutheran Schools Week the kids were tested and a few from each class were chosen to represent in the Bible Bee. Megan was chosen and did great!

This is my new favorite picture of us and it's from TigerFest!

Jacob chose to eat at Steak and Shake for his birthday treat! He was a happy camper! He made sure we called PopPop to let him know!

We gave him baseball stuff for his birthday!

I work in an awesome place! Google human hungry hippos and that what we played as one of our stations during a professional development day!

We also did an art collaboration project and photo booth!

Jacob loved playing with my co-worker and friend Sondra's dinosaurs that she graciously let us borrow for his party!

They were popular with everyone!

STL Presentation and New Baby Boy Brandon

Here is Nicole and I posing for a picture after our presentation for CharacterPlus! We had a blast and had really great feedback as well. Cooking with Character Right From the Start!

Our selfie with Suzy!

In action! What you can't see is the 100 people who are in attendance decorating their cookies as we move from one slide to the next!

Random picture from our small group bible study! Megan and her friend Gaby!

Baby Brandon making his arrival!

Emily thinks she's all that sitting in mommy's work chair!

Jacob colored our entire window with window markers, from the outside it looks like stained glass!

Emily loves baby Brandon! She is like a big sister he never wanted!
