Thanksgiving with Michael's Family

More SPOONS! We decided to introduce spoons to Michael's family as well! This one involved a spoon drawing blood on the forehead and a dive under the table. Who knew it could be so intense!

Ahh, a slower game...it took forever and they decided that I was the winner...my first time winning Risk and they wanted to go to bed so I didn't get to officially win...grrr.

Here is Uncle Jon reading a story to Megan. All the kids kept him busy by bringing him books to read!

Here is Megan helping tear bread pieces for the stuffing. Once again she sat on Mommy's lap for a long time.

We tried to take group shots of the cousins...this was the best one, if only Adam was looking at the camera!

Thanksgiving with Lisa's Family

Here we are gathered playing spoons! It was a blast, there were 9 players at this point. Two kiddos were also trying to "help" different players by holding cards and grabbing spoons! There were several small injuries requiring band-aids!

Here are the kiddos working on a puzzle. Megan went into the room and plopped herself down right in the middle of it all!
Megan sat on my lap for nearly an hour pealing potato's for Thanksgiving dinner. She took the potato's out and put them back in, she spun the pot around, she even tried to taste one! It was amazing how long she sat there.

We Love Shoes!!!

Megan loves to try on our shoes, she's especially cute in Daddy's shoes because they are huge! Today she found Mommy's shoe and managed to go around the whole house, it was really cute. She also loves to load and unload our "shoe depot" where all of our shoes are kept. She loves shoes, what can I say!

Big smile for Daddy!

In this picture it looks like the shoe almost fits her!

Here she is being goofy. Notice the sad bruise on her cheek. Last Thursday she lost her balance and fell onto the side of one of her many diaper boxes that are around the house. She loves to fill the boxes and push/pull/carry them around the house! We are hoping the bruise goes away by Thanksgiving for pictures!

More Fun Food Pictures!

Megan loves using her spoon and fork. She is really good with her spoon when the food is easy (like pumpkin...which she loves). However, it's not so easy with applesauce as you can see in the following pictures. Her lovely artwork is in the background as well! She continues to grow like crazy. She can now understand sooo many words, she's just choosing not to say any! It's amazing the words she understands, such as umbrella, peacock feather, balloon, sit down, shoes, coat, and the list goes on and on. She can even clean up her own messes, when she spills water we say to clean it up and she goes to get a bib and wipes it up! Now we are just waiting for the words to come along!

Megan's First Ponytail

Here is Megan's first ponytail! She didn't really like it much and it lasted for only a few minutes before she figured out how to take it out. It was cute while it lasted though!

Garth Brooks Concert!!!

Here we are getting ready to leave for the Garth Brooks concert, CD in hand to enjoy on the car trip there!

Here is the Cowboy himself! The concert was amazing, the songs were amazing and we had a wonderful time. My hands hurt from clapping and my throat hurts from all the yelling and singing! Definitely a once in a lifetime experience! Thanks Dad for making it happen!

Megan's Day
