Apparently it's been 3 whole months since I put pictures on the blog. To say that life has been crazy is an understatement! When I first uploaded these pictures is was right after her allergy testing for foods (the environment ones came later). The emotions that went on that day of testing finding out that Megan was allergic to a variety of foods and needed an epi-pen on her at all times was a little more than unnerving. We were the eating out/processed foods kings and queens and now we have come full circle.
After the appointment we had planned to eat out before going back to school so our plans changed drastically that day and I called my trusted friend Nicole who has the same food allergies as Megan who directed me to a few things to get us started. So her lunch that day was eating from the chunk of cheese and strawberries! We have now found a replacement for nearly everything that she eats, some of it can add up quickly but we've saved a bunch since we eat out less often.
Here is a picture of her foods she's allergic to which include: tree fruit, soy, peanut, pea, navy bean, and mustard. The testing was shocking and not at all what we expected when we went into the appointment, I was not prepared at all.
The poor girl had a filling the same day too!

Michaels fault, all Michaels fault, no allergies on this side of the family. Poor Megan.
I like the beard helps cover him up.
