We decided to go to the little lake down the street and fish! We were having a good time. Jacob caught a bass (which Of course Megan was surprised about!).

Then...as I was putting a worm on Megan's hook Emily went running to see what Jacob caught and somehow got tangled in the line...so owwww!
Jacob drew this picture of Daddy (smiling) trying to follow the online directions to remove the hook...clearly I'm not smiling. After the 2nd failed attempt And me almost passing out I bit the bullet and went to the ER to get it removed. What an adventure!

Their is no graceful way to get a hook out unless you can pull it through and cut the barb off. I hurt for you, been there more than once needless to say. If you fish it's going to happen sooner or later. Isn't that who you got Michael, fishing? He didn't get away still has that hook through his cheek yanking him around.
