On our way back home from Iowa we took a trip through our old stomping grounds-Kirksville!
The kids loved Thousand Hills and of course went looking for critters!

Michael was in charge of Emily and I was in charge of Megan and Jacob...we were trying to prevent any wayward rocks from flying on someone's head!

It is so great that you keep taking your kids on all these small side trips. they are as important if not more important than the big fancy expencive ones. They may not be the most memerable but they will be the ones that will shape their lives, and yours.
