Summer Fun!!

It's hard to believe it's been almost a month since I last posted pictures! Talk about a busy summer!
Megan is determined to get these shoes for next year! They are blue and green and have zero pink or purple...we found them in the boys section! There are virtually zero girls shoes that exist without pink or purple!

We have started a major chore chart and the kids are loving the laundry part. We have Megan Monday's, Jacob Tuesday's, and Emily Wednesday's! Megan can do hers all by herself, Jacob just needs a little guidance, and Emily needs a little more guidance!

Here is the smiley girl!

We have an awesome community track and field event Tuesday's and Thursday's during the month of June. The kids absolutely loved it and by the end all 3 tried a much longer event and did great. Megan improved her mile to 9 minutes 11 seconds but more than that was proud that she had decided she would run it in front of everyone no matter how many kids were running (usually 1 or none!).

Jacob cracks me up, he runs like he's just out for a stroll, he hasn't quite got the competitiveness that I know will come with age! On the last track meet, he ran the 400 for the first time and was able to run the whole thing, he also loves doing the long jump!

And then there's Emily! She was a powerhouse in the 25 and 50 and decided she would also run the 200 because she was tired of watching! One of the days she ran right out of her shoe!

Here she is at gymnastics! She loves it and has no fear...of course!

My friend Nicole and I posing with Suzy Ward from CharacterPlus after our fun presentation!

Fuzzy picture but our house turned out pretty good!

While mowing I found 3 little bunnies! Each time I mow I find something new, bunnies, baby turtles, frogs, and who knows what else!

Megan was in heaven with the bunnies!

The other 2 liked petting them but decided that would be as close as they get!

It is so great seeing the kids getting involved in sports. learning to win and loose are so important the simple fact that you can compete and be involved is all that is important. I've rarely won anything but have a lot of 2nd, 3rd's and even last places but that means I've finished.
