At the beginning of the summer I had grand plans for our weekly schedule and such! Needless to say those plans lasted about a week and a half and then lazy summer days have taken over! Lots of time at the pool as well!
Mondays were our fishing days. This day was freezing outside and fairly miserable but I promised Megan she would go fishing so here we were!
Wednesday's were library days which had really fun themes...yep we've only been to the library 2 times this summer...each time Jacob (and mini-me Emily) checked out military books only!
Thursday's were our field trip days to go to places like the capital (which we did!), the pool, the military museum here, and more).
Megan has wanted to tour the capital for years and we finally made it a priority!
Tuesday's were supposed to be the State Capital Museum classes but we haven't quite made it there yet! We did tour the museum after the capital though! Jacob of course loved everything, especially the giant replica of the USS Missouri!
Fridays were Runge Nature Center days which all the kids love! And this picture was taken while we waited and waited for some trains to come!

You've had to put up with Michael for 10 years now!! OOOhhh that means I have too, sorry for my luck. Looks like the kids are having a great summer so far not to much of it left though.
