Character Education Conference

Nicole and I had a blast presenting at the character conference. This was our "house" complete with foundation (11 principles), framework (staff), sheathing (parents), and extras (kids). It doesn't look like much but the people enjoyed it and the message was clear!

It was fun to present and I can't wait till the next time!

This is Julia Cook. She is the author of awesome books like Ricky Sticky Fingers, Cell Phoney, and Don't Be Afraid to Drop. I love her stuff and her humor. She actually came in riding a unicycle wearing her pajamas. It was definitely a great bonus to the conference.

We have worked really hard on our application and artifacts to become a National School of Character when we found out early childhood centers are not eligible. Ever since that point, we have been blazing the trail for Early Childhood and it was nice to get a little recognition for those efforts.

Here we are again!

This is another character education super star, Hal Urban. It was nice to hear about his new book and overall just good stuff for my own life as well as my school life!
